Our client is a leader in the growing e-learning industry, providing state of the art, complete end-to-end, web-enabled learning solutions for clients in the form of performance development and learning tools. Custom online solutions are developed to meet specific customer needs.

We are conducting a search for a Freelance Business Writer in our custom eLearning content development group. The Freelance Business Writer will review materials provided by the client, and write content to the storyboard specifications. Topics will be in accounting and finance, and the target audience is business executives.

Requirements:

•Demonstrated writing experience in business topics, accounting and finance preferred. Experience in writing to a sales audience a plus, with experience writing sales training materials preferred.

•Prior experience writing for external clients, 2+ years experience writing on a fixed-bid or freelance basis would be preferred.
•Instructional design skills, including working with client to draw out details and structure. Developing content outline. Experience in an eLearning environment highly desirable.
•Proven track record of delivering on time and within scope. Can manage his/her own time and meet deadlines.
•Strong interpersonal and professional skills including working on a team and interacting with clients.
•Preference will be given to candidates physically located in the Puget Sound area to facilitate attending project meetings in the Bellevue-area office.
•Existing home office setup.
•BA/BS degree or higher preferred.
