I'm working on an assignment for the Home & Garden section of a major urban newspaper. Tentatively called "Sentimental Gardens," it's about the difficulty of letting go of a garden after a home has sold.

Have you or someone you know:
- Driven by a former house to see how much the trees you've planted
have grown?
- Been reluctant to sell the house to someone who you feared would not
take care of the garden?
- Developed a relationship with the new home owner just so that you
could ensure that the garden was well tended?
- Knocked on the door of a former home so that you could see the garden?

If any of these apply to you or someone you know, please contact me at
