Seeking Freelance Writers Near Surprise, Ariz.

Grand Season is a "shopper" magazine, published 10 times per year and targeted at the active adult communities near Surprise, Arizona. We are seeking freelance writers to write Business Profiles about our advertisers. This is "advertorial" type writing -- short, snappy, "what's-in-it-for-me" for the reader. The articles are approximately 650-850 words in length, and we pay $60 per article. If you would like to see samples of what we're looking for, go to our website at http://www.thegrandseason.com <http://www.nmmarketplace.com> and click on any of the "Business Profiles" listed there.

Assignments are made a few weeks before deadline -- deadlines are typically around the first of each month. Then it's up to the writer to schedule an in-person interview with the business owner. After writing the story, the writer then passes it back to the business owner for final approval (remember, it's advertorial writing). After the owner approves it, the writer submits the article to the Grand Season editor. We pay on publication.

If you're interested in this type of writing, please submit relevant writing samples and a CV (if you have one) to rena - at - thegrandseason.com.
