Freelance: Cases Studies on Newspapers and Technology

Looking for a writer to research and write case studies on the topic of
technology and newspapers.

Each case study will be 1000 - 2000 words.

The case study will review the decision-making, installation, usage, and
results associated with a particular technology at a particular news
organization (an existing customer). The target reader of this case study
is the buyer of such technology-often a CTO along with other senior
executives.

You will need to have knowledge and experience of the newsroom environment
and workflow-the reporting/ editing/ layout/ publishing process. First
hand experience with editorial content management systems and archiving
systems is a plus. So is knowledge of the process of publishing to news
organizations' web sites. The content of the case studies will be
moderately technical, so the writer must have experience writing on topics
of a technical nature.

We will start with one case study. But three others are planned, and
additional writing assignments may also result for the right person.

Please respond with a letter describing your relevant abilities and

samples and references will be required at a later point in the process.
