If you or someone you know lives in Wayne, Ontario, Yates or Seneca County, NY, AND is a published writer or performer or artist, this is for you! I write a weekly column for a local publication that features such creative folks. I don't charge anything (of course!). This column is just for public interest and exposure for the person being profiled. It's an ongoing column, so I'll always need more people to profile.

The interview subject must be able to provide a min. 300 dpi digital photograph to be e-mailed to me OR be able to postal mail a developed photo which I can return. No photo equals no article. The photo must show the subject's face clearly, but I can digitally crop out undesirable backgrounds.

The interview subject must be out of high school (18 years or older).

It's okay if the subject doesn't do their creative thing full time. I'm sorry, but I cannot use: quilters, knitters, crafters, unpaid performers, volunteers, or people whose creative efforts are not public. They must perform for pay, or sell their wares at a shop or online, for example.

Here are examples of what I'm looking for: published writers and poets; selling painters, sculptors, decorative woodworkers, art jewelers, potters and decorative metalworkers; paid performing vocalists, instrumentalists, band members, jugglers, dancers, magicians, and entertainers (no "adult" entertainers, please).

I cannot interview an entire band for one piece. Only one person per piece, please, because it's an individual profile column.

The questions will be about how the subject became interested in their area of expertise, where their creative efforts can be seen/purchased, and so on. It's just a friendly little article.
