Job Description
Our primary function is research and publishing, focused on education business topics (not public policy or pedagogy). We are seeking individuals with strong business analysis skills to work off site supporting our research projects. The ideal candidates are critical thinkers with exceptional skills in research, analytical business writing, and written and oral communication.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibility of this role is to independently complete research reports and/or consulting PowerPoint presentations.

To produce these written pieces, the contract business consultant will :

· Conduct telephone interviews with education industry managers and executives and K-12 and higher education administrators

· Conduct secondary-source research (i.e. Internet, database, and periodicals searches) on business topics in the for-profit education sectors of pre-K-12, postsecondary, and/or corporate learning

· Estimate market sizes and growth rates

· Analyze company strengths, weaknesses, market trends, and future business opportunities

Requirements
Candidates MUST possess an expertise in business writing and be able to balance multiple priorities with defined deadlines.
