Hi, I'm interested in a naturopath or health professional's view on the Okinawa Diet - this is the diet from the people of Okinawa, Japan who have one of the highest life expectancies in the world.

The diet is based on low calorie but high-density foods, such as sweet potato, carrotts and fish. This means that they stay lean because of low calories but also have a feeling of fullness, so feel satisfied and don't binge eat.

There is a new book out called The Okinawa Diet Plan and if you are a health professional would be interested in your view on this diet plan as a way of life. Is it feasible? Is it healthy? What do you think about it in general?

Thanks for your input!
