Writer’s Guidelines

Fishing Facts Magazine has been teaching people
how to fish for the past 40 years. Every issue features
stories on how-to and where-to fish at some of the
hottest spots in the United States.

1) Every article submitted should be between
750 and 1,500 words.
2 They should contain color photos and/or charts,
graphs and maps.
3) Clearly outline the techniques used to fish successfully.
4) Clearly outline where the author was fishing,
either the specific body of water or the area.
5) Articles must be submitted in the following forms:
• via e-mail. e-mail address: info@midwestoutdoors.com
(We use Microsoft Word for word processing.)

Please remember, the tone of Fishing Facts Magazine is positive and upbeat.

❒ Your name is on all pages and photos.
❒ You have indicated what issue the material is for.
❒ You have written a headline and sub-headline.
❒ You have written a caption for each photo.

PLEASE READ:
If we do not plan on using your material,
it will be returned to you within 10 days
of receipt. The best check you have for
knowing if we have used your material,
is if you receive payment from
Fishing Facts. Payment for each article
published is $30 paid upon publication.
