GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

Manuscripts should be double-spaced, right margins not justified. Fiction specifications are: 1,500 words minimum, 5,000 average, 7,000 words maximum. Simultaneous submissions are not permitted. Writers are advised to inspect a back copy of the Michigan Quarterly Review, available for $4.00 before submitting work.

If a manuscript is accepted for publication, we will ask for a computer disk with the submission (poetry is exempt). Average turn-around time is six weeks.

A self-addressed, stamped envelope must be enclosed for the return of the manuscript or any reply.
