I am interested in interviewing people who have received some kind of public sector funding for a small business. By that, I mean any kind of loans or grants that you may have obtained from the Small Business Administration or any other government agency, whether that is local, state, or federal. I am also interested in interviewing those who have contracted with a government for delivery of products or services.
The interview will cover the following questions:
-How has funding helped start or expand your own business?
-What office or department did you contact in order to obtain funding?
-What procedures were you required to follow in order to receive funding?
-About how much funding have you received thus far?(optional)
I am essentially looking for your personal story so feel free to be creative in describing your experience. I am not simply looking for itemized answers to the questions, but something that flows well and weaves together nicely.
Please also tell me what I am allowed to quote in a book and under what name you would like to be quoted.
