coLAB Arts in New Brunswick NJ and Voice Afire Pocket Opera-Cabaret seeks a grant writer familiar with the Arts and “not-for-profits”.
This is an assignment related to a single project, “My Life with Pablo Neruda” is a pocket opera based on the life and poetry of the Nobel Prize winning Chilean poet Pablo Neruda and of his third wife Matilda Urrutia. It may be performed in either English or in Spanish and includes social and political overtones.http://www.voiceafire.com/http://www.voiceafire.com/My_Life_with_ ... eruda.htmlhttp://www.colab-arts.org/people/
The work required would fall into two segments:
Segment 1 - Identify grants appropriate to the development and production of this project both in New York City and in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Fee $500.00
Segment 2 – Would include the actual writing of the grants and follow up. This would be done in collaboration with Voice Afire Director Ray Luedeke. When the proposal is done, the grant writer will keep in contact with the organization to check the progress of the proposal/application and inform coLAB Arts and Voice Afire of same. The successful candidate should have a familiarity with the Arts and a familiarity with classical musical, opera and theatre is a plus. The fee for the second segment is also $500.00. Note that the second segment is conditional on successful completion of segment one. Also note, additional assignments may be possible for future projects initiated by coLAB and Voice Afire Pocket Opera-Cabaret.
