Submitted to WritersWeekly.com via email by Chevy Weiss on 12/27/12. Pays "around $300-$500/piece, 4 pieces per month. But depends on how much research goes into the writing.

Seeking copywriter for corporate blog/e-letter

We are seeking an experienced writer to produce our weekly blog/e-letter, written in the style
of our CEO.

Target audience: small-to-midsize business owners

Style: It is written for our CEO, who is a marketing expert and business coach. To get a feel for the tone, please read through our archives at http://www.yourbusinessgps.com/eletter. We strive for a friendly but authoritative read, engaging and entertaining but packed with solid, cutting-edge content. We also try to add relevant photos, videos, charts or other visuals when possible.

Content: Approximately 500-word articles, generally about:

Marketing & sales tips, techniques, and tools
Business and management strategies
Work/life balance and personal development ideas

Time frame: Weekly article. You will have short weekly calls with our CEO and submit drafts in a timely manner to allow for changes or even re-writes.

Other info: You will be responsible for collaborating with our CEO on content topics, researching and
finding relevant data, anecdotes, videos, and photos; and writing and editing the copy.

To be the winning candidate, you must be fast and capable of meeting tight deadlines. You must be
based in North America (CEO works in EST time zone) and have familiarity with contemporary business issues. A marketing background, especially knowledge of direct-response marketing, would be a plus.

To apply for this job, please send cweiss@brandlauncher.com: (1) your CV (2) two sample e-letters of any length similar in style to our past e-letters; (3) compensation requests.
