Technical Report Writer

Research Reports International, a publisher of commercial management
and market intelligence reports for the energy industry is searching for
contract (1099) technical report writers with the following experience:

a.. Researching content and writing from a content plan
specification
b.. Writing large (75-100 page) technical documents
c.. Interviewing Subject Matter Experts and sources
d.. Comfortable with regulatory/legislative, economic/business,
and
technical/scientific research and conventions
e.. Working in a business production environments
f.. Business analyst skills preferred
Qualifications

a.. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
b.. Ability to use and apply conventions and formatting from the
corporate style guide
c.. Formal education in technical documentation or equivalent
d.. Can present recent technical documentation writing samples
e.. Owns resources to work remotely including recent versions of
Microsoft Office
f.. Independent writer able to write with little direction other
than content plan specification
Compensation
Flat rate payment and schedule negotiated per report writing
assignment (based on $30/hr)
