Forum Description and RULES:
By participating in this forum, you agree that you have read and understand the rules and forum description below:
TO POST AN AD
Email your job listings to angela (at) writersweekly.com. All ads must include the amount you intend to pay the freelancer(s). We accept freelance ads for writers, editors, copyeditors, copywriters, technical writers, and any other creative professionals.
ONLY FREELANCE, PAYING JOBS PERMITTED
Jobs can only be posted here if they are for freelancers (telecommuting positions) and if they pay real money, whether through a flat fee or an hourly rate.
We don't allow ads for pay-per-click or payment-per-ad-revenue jobs or any other questionable payment terms. If you tell writers they'll only be paid "if [insert reason here]", you can't post here. And, we NEVER PERMIT ADS FOR JOBS THAT HIRE WRITERS TO WRITE PAPERS FOR STUDENTS!
NO ANTHOLOGIES OR CONTESTS
Since anthologies require writers to write on spec, thus often wasting the time of hundreds or thousands of writers who submit and aren't chosen, these are not real jobs and can't be posted here. Contests aren't jobs and can't be posted here.
NO COPYING ADS FROM OTHER SOURCES
Only the employers hiring freelancers may post their jobs here. Do not post jobs you've seen elsewhere.
YOU ARE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN POSTS
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, threatening, invasion of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. The 1996 Telecommunications Act protects access providers from liability for the unlawful acts of users. This means you could be sued directly for your posts.
Your can be held liable for any mispresentation of a job you post here.
YOU HAVE TO REVEAL YOUR NAME
You can't post a job without providing your real name.
NO SPAM AND POSTS MUST BE APPROPRIATE FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL FORUM
Any post made to the wrong forum will be deleted. Any user who posts press releases, ads, or any other promotional material about a firm (whether that person works for that firm or not) will be banned and the post will be deleted. This forum is not to be used for marketing purposes.
WritersWeekly.com reserves the right to remove postings that are abusive in nature and may, at its discretion, ban partipants who display unethical behavior. If you find abusive information on this forum, please contact us at: whispersandwarnings (AT) writersweekly.com
