I'm looking for stories about kids and their experiences with sports - either teams sports or individual competition. Any age through high school will do. Thanks!

I have an 11-year-old son who is a sports fanatic and has been since he was old enough to hold a ball. Basketball, football, baseball it really doesn't matter to him. The joke in our house has been that we never needed Cartoon Network - just ESPN. He knows stats, players names, including the hottest college and high school prospects when draft day rolls around. As far as participating in youth sports baseball is his game and has been for the past 6 years. He recently was recruited to play travel baseball and the travel baseball experience versus local youth sport leagues (recreation or parent-ran) has been an eye opener.
