I used to write articles on a variety of topics on sites like Associated Content. I enjoyed doing it, but lately I have been having trouble motivating myself to write. I'll start on something good and reach writer's block and then I end up dumping it. How do you guys get around that? Also, do you have any tips for becoming a better writer in general? I would like to do more fiction, but I feel my dialogue is pretty unrealistic.

Another thing: What are some good sites to put fiction works on. I don't mind putting a few short stories (as in drabbles) on a site for free, but what are the best ways to make money with shorter works (ex. a short story). I'm familiar with FictionPress, but I don't think they'll pay you for your work.
