I'm thinking about taking part in Script Frenzy this April, where you write a script in a month. This would be a great way to put to paper the short film I've had rolling around in my head for years.

Is anyone else taking part, and for those who have before, I would love to learn about your experiences.

Sounds like a great idea! I have to say that despite fact that one isn't getting a significant monetary reward for it, it's a great resume builder and it's a great way to get those writing chops going. I'd certainly like to take part in the writing festivities. :)

Yes, although there are no prizes involved, I find events like these to be a great way to "catch up" on the projects that you wouldn't necessarily get to right away. It's refreshing to know that in 3 months time I will finally have my short film completely down on paper. I'm relieved already, lol!

Hi there Adam,

Script Frenzy is a competition where every April writers come together, and they write a script in a month. This can be a screenplay, stage play, tv show script, or graphic novel. There aren't prizes; it's a non-profit event, however I think it will be such a rush to set an insane writing goal for yourself and meet it. :)

Here is the website if you'd like to check it out:
