I am searching youth & young adult markets for my 2nd novel. -- first one was adult oriented-- and need some advice & leads.
I have the MS professionally copy-edited & ready to go, however, I am unfamiliar with the market- this is straight-up fantasy/fairy tale market material. Any suggestions? I can't say it often enough: when it comes to doing your own marketing, read Peter Bowerman's The Welll-Fed Writer. He starts from the beginning and takes you step by step and if you can read at all, you cannot fail. I bought a used copy on Ebay for $6 but even if you have to pay the full $19.95, it's worth it. And Amazon.com has used copies at cut-rate prices. Go get it!
