Can anyone recommend some good writer's forums. I enjoy getting feedback and having discussions with other writers. I'm most particularly interested in forums for humor writers.

There are several usenet writers groups that are very active; some of them, but not all, are open to receiving writing for criticism and discussion. You might check alt.writing for a start. I believe that it is not one of the groups that is open to having people post their writing, but someone there can point you in the right direction.

This is an extremely "busy" site - great for reading/reviewing (I practice my editing and consultation) but sometimes there's too much going on to even get very far:

www.writing.com

Free email, too, which helps if you have a weird-o ISP.

Anyhoo, if you're looking for feedback on your writing, it's definitely worth checking out. Happy writing,

Marivic
