Good morning to everybody,

I've been requested to make summaries (5 pag. approx) from books. This means to first read the books and then writte the summary. I have to send to my customer an estimated cost but I have no idea about the market prices and what should I get paid for.

Please any suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

How big are the books you have to read?...how many pages?....Reading certainly takes time...so the bigger the book...the more time and effort it takes and this would be reflected in your quotes.

Read for an hour and determine how many pages you've read. Divide the pages by how much you need to make in per hour. Add 10% (or some other percentage) to cover expenses. It really doesn't matter what the market will bear. What matters is not losing your shirt.
